The 2015 social
media marketing report that is published by Social Media Examiner identifies that
66% of marketers plan to increase their use of social media this year. The most popular sites are Twitter, You tube
and LinkedIn. Although 93% of marketers
use Facebook, 68% want to learn more about it and 62% plan on increasing their
use of Facebook. Although 57% of marketers
use video already, 72% want to learn more about video marketing. Only 10% of marketers use podcast, but 43%
want to know more about it. Facebook and
LinkedIn were identified as the two most important social networks for
marketers. Most marketers identified that they do not feel that their Facebook
marketing is effective. At least 91% want to know the most effective social tactics
and the best way to engage their audiences.
The number one problem identified (92%) is which tactics work the best.
Locating the best customers and prospects is a concern for 87% of marketers and
they feel they need guidance in this area.
